We ought to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for the truth
3 John 1:8
The word “hospitality” literally means love of strangers and is found several times in the New Testament (Romans 12:13; 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:8; 1 Peter 4:9).
The Hospitality Ministry is blessed with many opportunities to experience the love of God by welcoming people into the house of our Lord.
Our goal is to show the love of God through the gift of hospitality so everyone feels welcome and a sense of belonging.
Our Objectives are to serve and welcome each and everyone into Redemption Point Church so they can experience a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them to reach our community through service.
Our Purpose is to exude the love of Christ to our guests and members that they may be transformed from strangers into the family of God.
The Hospitality Ministry wants to ensure the best possible worship experience for our members and guests at all worship services. Our aim is to help make our worship services warm, inviting, and safe.

How Can You Serve?
Whether it is standing at the entrance to the church or providing ‘In Touch’ bulletins at the Sanctuary doors, warmly greeting all who enter can help enhance a person’s worship experience.
The time commitment is 1 – 2 services a month, arriving 15 minutes before the service time and remaining in place for 15 minutes after the service begins. This ensures that the majority of our guests and regular attendees are warmly greeted…even when they may be running a little late some mornings!
Our ushers help our guests and regular attendees locate seats, specializing in finding places for those with small children and babies, and those with special seating requirements. Our ushers also assist with any urgent need that may occur during the service.
If you like helping people and are able to respond quietly and quickly when a need arises, consider using your skills in serving as an usher.
The time commitment is 1 – 2 services a month, arriving 15 minutes before the service begins and remaining near the back of the sanctuary during the service to provide assistance as needed.
We celebrate communion at every Sunday service! Sign up is for a month at a time; with prep time including placing and replenishing the elements during Sunday morning services. Training is provided.
The church offers complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and treats in the lobby to encourage fellowship before and after our services. If you enjoy serving others by keeping things stocked up and ready for their enjoyment, this is a great way to be involved.
