Join an MC Group
What is an MC Small Group? Missional Community (often called "an MC") is a group of people seeking to grow as disciples of Jesus together. RPAC encourages its members and regular attenders to be a part of an MC.
We are called to follow Jesus and we do that in community. If you want to grow in your relationship and walk with Jesus, if you want to grow as a disciple and reach the lost, an MC group is a place where that will happen.
Why should I join an MC? You and your small group will grow in Christ in a safe environment where you will be loved, encouraged, and challenged to obey Jesus out of a response to His love for you. By joining an MC you are saying you want to take your next step in following Jesus.
What is the commitment? Our MCs run on a school year schedule, from September through June (with breaks between sessions, and a break in the summer).
Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
Studying the Bible is important for the health of the believer. Even those who are scholars of the Word can enrich their comprehension and testimony through continued biblical study. The pursuit of Jesus is a lifelong pursuit, and the pursuit of holiness should be our lifelong endeavor. Bible study is vital to the growth and transformation of every believer.

Alliance churches follow the same practice of baptism subsequent to conversion to Christ. Those who have repented of sin and put their faith in Jesus for eternal life are encouraged to take this step of obedience.
Immersion in the baptismal waters symbolizes the end of the old way of life. Coming up out of the baptismal waters pictures the new life found in Christ. The person who was previously dead in sin has been made spiritually alive by the same power that raised up Jesus from the grave. United with Him, the believer is released from the power of sin in order to obey God. Paul portrays this life change as putting on new clothes: “for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ” (Galatians 3:27).
Water baptism identifies a person as a disciple of Christ and celebrates the passage from an old life into a new life in Christ. Simply stated, it is an outward sign of an inward change. If you are interested in baptism, contact Pastor Lindsey for details on the baptism class.
